- Building trust with each repair
Trust is one of the most important elements in the relationship between a fleet operator and the company chosen to repair vehicles to keep the wheels of business turning profitably and successfully – and it is trust Gearboxes A-Z is promising transport operators. The transport industry is facing increasingly tough times with the insidious rise in fuel prices allied to an economy that is not performing as well as it should, meaning every cent spent on vehicle repairs needs to be backed up by the repair organisation. Â
Andre Mills of Gearboxes A-Z is empathic when he says, “We are not a fly-by-night organisation and are very proud to offer quality service at an affordable cost. Also, our ethos of doing what needs to be done to get the job done to keep customers’ fleets running, and our company values of ‘Respect’, ‘Loyalty’, and ‘Trust’ define the way in which we work.”
- Origins
The company started in 1979, with Andre Mills, senior specialising in commercial truck, bus gearboxes and differentials. Working in his father’s workshop at MainStreet – Diesel in Jeppe. The company grew to be one of the leading gearbox repair centres in the country.
